We are based in Sydney and proudly Locally Made and Australian Owned. Originally when I began working with my focus groups - Aunty’s Ginger Tonic was made by myself in my kitchen, by hand. Wonderful memories of humble beginnings. As the markets I attended began selling out each week, I was approached by a now wonderful friend who is a food technologist and she assisted me in finding a certified organic co-manufacturer. The ginger is sourced from Queensland and 98% of what's in your bottle is from Australia.

The original recipe made by my Grandmother and Aunty’s included these 2 beautiful ingredients that blend so perfectly with Ginger - I wanted to maintain that inspiration of the original recipe. Much Like Ginger - Tamarind assists in improved digestion, is a comforting soother for coughs and colds, is great source of vegan iron and dietary fibre. The polyphenols in Tamarind have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. Tamarind is the fruit pod of a tree native to Asia and Africa, according to "The New Food Lover's Companion," which describes tamarind's as having a "sour-sweet" flavor as being akin to lemons, apricots and dates. Aunty's Ginger Tonic use 5% of fresh ginger that has been pureed. The sediments show how authentic, natural and healthy our beverages are. There is no real rule here! It is very zingy and tasty and you may want to keep having more but for those who are swapping from ginger beer, energy drinks and soft drinks, Aunty's Ginger Tonic can be consumed everyday. I like to think of it as being a fusion - with the African feel and the Aussie real natural vibe that you are happy to imbibe daily.

Aunty’s Ginger Tonic is best served chilled, refreshing straight from the fridge. Delicious over ice with a twist of lime, or warmed slightly and sipped before bed. Really any way you want to drink it is the best way. We hear that its also fabulous mixed with rum and a lemon twist. And actually, some don't just stop at drinking it! We are pleased to have produced a 12 month shelf life. Our products can be stored in ambient conditions before being placed in the fridge. Once opened consume within a day or two.
